Great cake and always friendly service!

Was there for the first time today and bought 4 different pieces of cake for my birthday. Very, very tasty and very friendly staff. Gladly again!

Most of the employees are very polite and committed. The junior boss still has a lot to learn! No ability to criticize and an unfriendly approach: her snotty manner towards guests when criticism is expressed as well as towards the (long-term) employees. We are long-standing customers and have often observed situations that were not appropriate. Among other things, how a waitress broke a cup. The junior boss collected "fines" in an unfriendly tone. We found that strange. It happens that something breaks and there's insurance for that. I doubt an office worker would have to pay paper money for every wrong printout. ? The cakes, however, are first class! Large selection and something for every taste. But I don't understand why there are no signs on the cakes, it makes it difficult for the waitress to explain everything and the guest has to wait a long time.

The range of cakes is first class from our own pastry shop. However, I find the seating arrangement uncomfortable in some places, e.g. the high tables and seats along the counter and the seating in the separate room at the entrance. A café must be a place of well-being to linger. It almost occurs to you that you shouldn't linger too long to switch customers.

Completely uncoordinated. Waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs. Fully billed. Couldn't eat it as I had to leave. Never again!

The cakes are fantastic, the hot chocolate tasted very good. The selection of cakes is phenomenal, we will happily work our way through it! :) The waitresses are super nice and brisk, and don't even show the stress on full days. Gladly again!

Super beautiful and incredibly delicious wedding cake. From the first consultation to the delivery of the cake, everything went really well. The cakes not only look good, but also taste with enough cream between the bases and many layers. All guests found the cake wonderfully delicious.

We had a very good breakfast with a dear friend. Very friendly service and everything was delicious and fresh.

You can get a classic German breakfast for a reasonable price. Their motto is "wir sind nicht hip, wir sind lecker" (we're not hip, we're tasty), which describes the breakfast really well. We had an all-in kind of breakfast that came with several kinds of bread and rolls, cold cuts, cheese, scrambled eggs, house-made jam, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee as well as the "Market Breakfast" that had a boiled egg, cheese, fruit, a croissant and roll. Very tasty, nice to hang out for a lazy morning.

We were there for the first time and were thrilled by the great location, the large selection of homemade cakes and the very friendly and extremely attentive staff. Always my pleasure! Anyone who has lived the tradition for 60 years also enjoys keeping the quality just as high as it was when it all began. We like traditional businesses. You can still feel the quality and passion!

Quite excellent. Very tasty breakfast, good selection, great cakes and very friendly service. The prices, keep Rüttenscheid usual.

The cake selection is stunning. All products are fresh and taste good. The service staff is very friendly. Coupled with the timeless, elegant ambience a round thing. The nougat ring is particularly recommended - super tasty, but goes straight to the hip.

Never again..... I'm on June 26th 2020 to the pastry chef to have a good breakfast .... I got four half-grain rolls with butter and scrambled eggs for 14 euros ... I spoke to the daughter of the house, who reacted very unfriendly to my criticism and replied that a sandwich was five euros, even if there was only butter on it. My money is a shame for the service .....

Very delicious breakfast service was super friendly and on special requests was received. Bread rolls and bread were served warm and an extra slicer too. Wonderful you can only recommend.

Last Saturday was my first time to go there. The coffee and cakes are really nice! The staffs were nice too! I love to go there again!
